| This PC based control system
provides complete automatic operation of the mixing system at a busy plant bakery. Data
acquisition modules connected to plant sensors provide process data to the system.
Using menu based operation the correct proportions of flour, water and yeast are fed to
the mixer. The plant is in continuous operation. In addition
to the basic control system data is collected for each batch and may be viewed remotely by
management via the local network.
Plant operation is continuously monitored with on screen messages
providing warnings of malfunctioning devices such as sticking valves etc. This provides
valuable diagnostics for maintenance staff.
Dough temperature control is also incorporated.
The operating software running under Windows was written in-house.
